1. Your Account

When you create an account with SEO Tracker, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information.
• Keep your password secure and confidential.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• Be responsible for all activity under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to use SEO Tracker.

2. Our Service

SEO Tracker provides keyword rank tracking, reporting, and analytics tools. We do our best to deliver accurate ranking data, but search engine results can vary by location, device, and personalization. Ranking data should be used as a directional guide, not an absolute measurement.

We may update, modify, or improve the service from time to time. We'll do our best to notify you of significant changes that affect your workflow.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the platform.
• Share your account credentials with others or resell access.
• Overload or abuse API endpoints beyond your plan limits.
• Use automated tools to create multiple accounts.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice when possible.

4. Plans & Billing

• Free plan: Available with limited features. No credit card required.
• Paid plans: Billed monthly or annually at the rates displayed on our pricing page. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.
• Upgrades: Take effect immediately. You'll be charged the prorated difference.
• Cancellations: You can cancel anytime. Your plan stays active until the end of your current billing period.
• Refunds: We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 7 days of a charge if you believe it was made in error.

5. Your Data

You own your data. The projects, keywords, and ranking history in your account belong to you. We will never claim ownership of your content. You can export or delete your data at any time.

By using SEO Tracker, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the service (e.g., checking rankings, generating reports).

6. Intellectual Property

The SEO Tracker platform — including its design, code, branding, and documentation — is our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without our written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

SEO Tracker is provided "as is." While we strive for accuracy and reliability, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or perfectly accurate ranking data at all times. Search engines frequently change their algorithms and results pages.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SEO Tracker shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You can close your account at any time from your account settings. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with reasonable notice when possible.

Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days in case you change your mind, then permanently deleted.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. When we make meaningful changes, we'll notify you via email or an in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If that fails, disputes will be settled through binding arbitration.
